Tracing 'And,' 2000
Intrigued by the effort required to wear through the Maine sod, I retraced the steps of artist Janine Antoni in the making of her work 'And.' Evidence found on site and in images of her work in progress enabled me to reconstruct the site location and dimensions. Linked to its center, I walked the circle for an hour, daily, for a period of three weeks until my effort credibly redrew her path.
