A couple of weeks ago, Marie of 66squarefeet fame wrote an article about composting on Shelterpop. I then thought I should post a picture of my sloppy, unkempt pile of rotting vegetables and debris at the base of the yew tree. I don't turn it much because its a little hard to get to -maybe once every 45 days. Either way, black soil comes of it, which I spread on the garden and add to new planting holes.
